In some studies, it’s been shown that a vegan diet is richer in vitamins. It has more fiber, antioxidants, and vitamins such as Vitamin A,C,E, potassium, and more.

A vegan diet is concentrated in plant compounds and therefore, it reduces blood sugar levels. This makes it an ideal diet for diabetes patients to follow.
There have been many studies conducted by the the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association show a vegan diet lowers blood-sugar levels. Studies have also shown that patients who eat a full vegan diet versus others have reduced signs of certain cancers, have a lower risk of heart disease, and even reduce the pain of arthritis.
A vegan diet can consist of anything that is not of animal origin, so things like beans, fruits, seeds, tofu, lentils, flaxseeds, etc. It excludes meat, dairy, honey, fish, eggs, and anything else of animal origin.
Veganism is usually seen as a position against animal cruelty that has developed into a way of life.
